  1. The fish touches the teapot behind the bed.
  2. The duck points to the plate under the sink.
  3. The old man puts the frying pan on the table.

To conjugate verbs in the present tense, we use the following formulation:

  • Ana: ka + n + [infinitive]
  • Nta: ka + t + [infinitive]
  • Nti: ka + t + [infinitive] + i (the “i” is used when speaking directly to a woman)
  • Howa: ka + y + [infinitive]
  • Hiya: ka + t + [infinitive]
  • 7na: ka + n + [infinitive] + o (the “o” is used for the plural)
  • Ntoma: ka + t + [infinitive] + o (the “o” is used for the plural)
  • Homa: ka + y + [infinitive] + o (the “o” is used for the plural)
